A large 60 × 60 cm square cushion cover in burgundy. A fine diamond pattern repeats across the front, with cream lines between the burgundy yarns. From a distance it looks like a warm reddish surface; up close the small diamonds come through.
Named after the red wine of Burgundy, the colour here is lighter and brick-toned, as you can see in the photos.
Jacquard-woven in India, it is backed by plain, natural-coloured fabric with a zip along one edge. You get one cover; you will need to buy the cushion pad separately.
At the head of the bed
If you like to sit up and read in bed, a 60 × 60 cm cushion propped against the headboard makes a good backrest. On white or cream bedding the burgundy stands out.
Next to beige and brown
Next to cream, beige, brown and other natural shades it gives a consistent look. In a brown armchair or on a beige sofa, the warm red tone shows well.
Paired with the long one
A long 30 × 50 cm version of the burgundy cover is also available. The large square goes at the back and the small one in front, with the same pattern, as in the product photo.
Piping and filling
Slim piping runs round the edge of the square cover, so the large cushion has straight edges and well-defined corners. The front is densely woven, and the cover weighs 0.44 kg.
Rolled up, the 60 × 60 cm pad slides in easily; let it unroll inside and push each of the four corners into place. If you need it as a backrest in bed, choose a firmer pad, as it holds its shape better when you lean on it.
