A dense, small diamond pattern woven from burgundy and cream yarns covers the front. From a distance it looks like an almost plain, warm reddish surface; up close the little diamonds appear. It measures 30 × 50 cm.
As a colour name, burgundy comes from the red wine of Burgundy. This cover is a lighter, brick-red version of it, as the photos show.
Woven on a jacquard loom in India, the front is backed with plain, natural-coloured fabric that has a zip along the edge. No cushion pad is included; you get one cover.
A warm colour for the cooler months
Burgundy goes well with wool throws, brown armchairs and wooden furniture. If you are swapping summer colours on the sofa for something warmer, this cover sits comfortably next to beige, cream and brown textiles.
For modern and rustic rooms
Because the pattern is fine and small rather than loud, it suits a rustic room with wooden beams as well as a simple modern sofa. On the bed, in front of white bedding, the reddish tone stands out strongly.
Pair it with the large square
A 60 × 60 cm burgundy cover is also available. If you like the arrangement in the product photo, put the large square one at the back and the long one in front. Both sizes share the same pattern; more diamonds simply fit on the larger one.
Piping round the edge
Slim piping runs all the way round the edge, which keeps the outline of the cushion straight. The weave is dense, and the cover weighs 0.21 kg.
A 30 × 50 cm cushion pad fits it. If you prefer a fuller, rounder cushion, choose a plumper pad. When filling it, push the far corners in first and settle them into place inside.
