Habanero Red chilipepper is the red version of the classic habanero. Extremely high capsaicin content, 70 cm tall bush. The fruits are lantern-shaped, thin-fleshed, ripening from green to red. Flavour is extremely hot, aromatic, fruity.
Growing
Sow in January–February in warm conditions. Transplant in May to a sunny, warm spot. Row spacing 70 cm, plant spacing 40 cm. Slow development.
Chili sauces, home tabasco, dried spice, Mexican and Thai cuisine. Always start tasting with small quantities.
