When you open the carrying bag, seven nestable bronze singing bowls of different sizes greet you; each bowl rests on its own brocade cushion and carries the colour and symbol of one of the seven chakras. The set ships with one suede-covered and one wooden mallet, so you can draw a tone from the first tap.
Bowl sizes and character
The bowls grow from 8 cm to 13 cm in diameter, with a combined gross weight of about 3 158 g. The smaller bowls give a light, higher fundamental; the larger ones give a deeper, longer-held vibration. The role of the chakra symbols
The seven symbols running along the side of the bowls are linked in the classical yoga tradition to the main energy points of the body.
