Product EOUL-50 is a 10-piece, unlabelled set: ten 10 ml glass bottles, each filled with pure US-origin Juniperus virginiana (Virginia cedar) essential oil. The set is intended for crafters, cosmetic formulators, aromatherapists and entrepreneurs building a private-label product line.
What the 10-piece set contains
The package includes 10 identical 10 ml amber glass bottles, each filled with steam-distilled Juniperus virginiana essential oil. The bottles arrive without labels, so you can apply your own branding, dosage instructions or design. Net content is 10 ml per bottle and the total weight is approximately 0.41 kg.
Botany: Juniperus virginiana
Virginia cedar (Juniperus virginiana) is botanically a juniper rather than a „true” cedar (Cedrus genus). The heartwood of this North American native tree yields an oil rich in sesquiterpenes, particularly cedrol and α-cedrene, which give the distinctive warm, woody, balsamic aroma profile. It is a classic perfumery ingredient.
Origin and production
The oil is sourced from the United States, from traditional cedarwood-processing regions. It is produced by steam distillation from the chipped heartwood. This method carries the volatile aromatic compounds with water vapour, keeping thermal load limited and preserving the characteristic deep woody aroma profile.
Applications
- Private-label cosmetics: scenting men's care products, aftershave balms and body oils
- Aromatherapy: calming, grounding diffuser blends, pillow sprays
- Soap and candle making: cold-process soap, soy wax candles
- Perfumery: base note in woody, balsamic and oriental compositions
- Textile fragrance: wardrobe blocks, natural moth-repellent blends
Storage and shelf life
Store the essential oil in a cool, dark place, preferably below 25 °C, in a tightly closed bottle. Protected from light and heat, Juniperus virginiana oil typically keeps for 3-5 years, as sesquiterpene-rich oils are more stable. Unopened bottles retain quality longer; once opened, it is advisable to use the content within 12 months.
