Soy wax melts at a lower temperature than paraffin, so it is safer to handle, yet a candle is still an open flame — please treat it with care. On the first use, allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the glass. Trim the wick to about 5 millimetres before each lighting. Never leave the candle unattended, and keep paper, curtains, children and pets away. Place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
