The meaning of the Lotus
The lotus rises from the mud to open a clean flower above the water, a recurring motif in Eastern art and religion. Tradition regards it as a symbol of purity and rebirth.
How to use it
Light it in times of challenge. Meditate on the lotus rising from the mud, untouched by the dirt around it, from struggle, too, one can bloom. Being unscented, its flame doesn't compete with incense or other fragrance, so the attention can rest purely on presence.
Material and finish
It is made from 100% natural, sustainably sourced palm-kernel wax (stearin) with a cotton wick. Both the candle and the packaging are produced in an environmentally friendly way. It measures roughly 21 x 6.5 cm, a stable pillar candle that lasts.
Safe use
Stand it in a suitable holder on a heat-resistant surface, away from draughts. Trim the wick to about 1 cm before lighting. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children and pets.
