A cajon built with your own hands
Few things are more satisfying than playing an instrument you assembled yourself. This German-made construction kit contains everything needed to build a full-value cajon of 50 cm height: the parts are precisely prefabricated, so assembly takes roughly 90 minutes and no special tools are required.
What is in the box?
The kit includes the prefabricated wooden parts, quick-drying express glue, tensioning belts and assembly instructions in five languages (DE, EN, FR, IT, ES). The flat-packed box measures 52 × 32.5 × 8 cm and weighs 5.9 kg - easy to carry and a practical gift.
Birch playing surface and snare elements
The playing surface of the finished instrument is made of birch, and inside the resonance box two snare elements with 20 spirals each create the typical crisp, buzzing cajon sound, complemented by a deep bass tone. The finished instrument measures approx. 30 × 30 × 50 cm - a comfortable seating height for adults.
