A new sound colour for your cajon, no tools needed
The Buzz Board works next to your cajon like a side snare in a drum set: it adds an extra buzzing, snare-like layer to your playing. The board attaches to the playing surface with a simple hook-and-loop fastener, so you can mount it in seconds and remove it just as quickly whenever you want the pure cajon sound again.
How does the 12-spiral board sound?
Twelve steel spirals run under the board and respond instantly and sensitively to every stroke. This lets you combine the bass and snare sound of your cajon with the fast-responding board in any proportion, from quiet accompaniment to lively grooves. The playing surface and rear panel are made of birch (Betula pendula).
Who benefits most?
If you already play the cajon confidently and want more variety in your sound, this is one of the simplest ways to get it. It is also practical for music teachers, because students immediately hear the difference between the buzzing and the clean sound. Easy to take along to street performances, camps and rehearsals.
Size, material, mounting
The board measures approx. 28 × 4.5 × 1 cm. It is made in Germany from carefully selected components. Thanks to the hook-and-loop fastening there is no need for tools, drilling or glue, and the cajon surface is not damaged.
