Brewing tips
Rinse the pot with hot water before first use. For green and white tea, keep the water under 80 °C or the leaves will release bitter notes. For black and oolong you can use 90-95 °C water. Steeping: 2-3 minutes for green, 3-5 minutes for black. Because the pot is small, do not let tea sit in it — pour it out completely, and reboil fresh water for the next round.
Care and cleaning
Dishwasher-safe, but we recommend hand washing because of the painted decoration: lukewarm soapy water, a soft sponge, done. Do not scour with wire wool, as the fine under-glaze detail can be damaged. If it stands unused for days, store it fully dry with the lid set aside so the interior does not turn musty.
