The reassuring Buddha with Abhaya mudra
This buddha statue of reassurance with aura and throne is made of polyresin with hand painting and an antique patina finish. It measures 12.8 × 8 × 18.5 cm and weighs 462 grams, so it stands stable on a shelf, windowsill or home meditation corner. The figure shows the so-called Abhaya mudra — a sacred hand gesture used during yoga and meditation practice to channel the flow of inner life energy. The Abhaya mudra is a symbol of safety, protection, peace and reassurance. The clothing, the halo and the throne are decorated with careful details. You will immediately feel that the fineness of the details and the calm posture of the figure bring a peaceful mood into the room.
The details of the throne and aura
Polyresin is a durable, easy-to-clean material that preserves fine contours and paint nuances. The surface has a matt antique finish, so it does not shine distractingly but radiates calm. You can pick it up reassured, because it does not break as easily as clay or plaster statues, and the colours remain vivid for years.
In a quiet meditation corner
You can place the statue on a living-room shelf, a quiet bedroom corner, or your home meditation space. Many people place it near the entrance as a welcoming figure, others next to the desk as a reminder of calm breathing during work. The 462-gram weight is enough to prevent it from tipping over from a light touch, while still being easy to rearrange.
Cleaning around fine details
For cleaning, we recommend a soft dry cloth or a lightly dampened microfibre cloth for deeper recesses. Avoid strong detergents and scrubbing sponges, as these can damage the painted surface. If the statue stands indoors, it preserves its beauty for many years. Keep it away from direct sunlight so the colours do not fade.
Why it is a symbol of safety
You choose a carefully crafted decoration from a china workshop, which is both an ornament and a reminder of inner stillness. Whether you intend it as a gift for a close friend or to complement your own home, you can be sure that the fine detailing and meditative posture shine through the mood of the space every day.
