Smooth, tumbled bronzite stones in a warm brown with a soft bronze sheen. The palm-friendly form is ideal as a pocket stone, for meditation or a mineral collection.
The stone of bronzite
Bronzite is the brownish, iron-magnesium-rich member of the pyroxene group, recognised by its distinctive soft bronze, metallic sheen; its Mohs hardness is around 5–6. Its warm, earthy browns give it a calm, grounding presence. In crystal lore it is known as a stone of peace and harmony, and tradition links it with composure, forgiveness and protective grounding.
The tumbled form
Tumbled stones gain their smooth, rounded surface through long polishing, which makes them sit pleasantly in the palm – a favourite as a pocket stone and meditation piece. This selection is mixed A/B quality: as a natural mineral, each piece can differ in shade, pattern and clarity, and every stone is unique. Pieces typically range between 0.5 and 2.5 cm.
Ways to use it
Bronzite works beautifully as a pocket stone, on a desk or in a crystal corner. Its warm, bronze-brown brings a calm, steadying mood to a space.
Care and good to know
Bronzite is moderately hard (Mohs around 5–6), so protect it from knocks and scratches and store it apart. Wipe it with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth; long soaking is best avoided.
