Sound and character
The bridge is a small part with a decisive effect on how your monochord sounds. The mass of its brass body and its precise fit cleanly separate the speaking length of the string from the fixed section, so vibration starts with a clear, ringing overtone. If you want to set the melody strings of a Monolina to a specific pitch, this bridge does exactly that: it slides in koto-style and can be freely positioned under the string so that any pitch becomes achievable.
How to use
- Slide the bridge under the Monolina melody strings into the desired position.
- Fine movement adjusts the pitch of that string — for a minor or major character.
- The Feeltone tuning template gives suggested bridge positions (the template is not included with a single bridge and is sold separately).

Care tips
