The quiet beauty of brown patinated brass
This small brass incense holder is made in India, and each piece is hand-finished with its characteristic brown patina. The patina does not develop with use – it is part of the original finish, giving the object a warm, antique appearance, as if it had been on your shelf for years. The classic round shape and the 7.5 × 5.5 cm size fit easily into any room: living room, bedroom or meditation corner.
What can you use it for at home?
The holder accepts both an incense stick and a cone at the same time. The stick goes into the small central hole, while the cone can be placed on a heat-resistant tray on top of the disc. Many customers keep one on the dining table for the time before supper, or on the desk so a gentle scent can fill the room during quiet work. The compact size also makes it an easy gift to carry, and it sits nicely on top of a bookshelf.
Why choose brass for this purpose?
Brass is one of the oldest materials used for incense holders: it tolerates heat well, does not burn, and is easy to clean. Thanks to the brown patina finish, ash marks are not distracting, and the surface does not fade in sunlight. A soft, dry cloth is enough to keep its character for many years.
How to clean and care for it?
After use, wait until it has cooled completely, then wipe it with a dry cloth. Brush ash gently onto a sheet of paper. Avoid washing with water or detergent, as the patina finish may fade in time – this way you preserve the holder's original antique look.
What is in the package?
You receive one hand-finished brass incense holder, 7.5 × 5.5 cm, with brown patina. The piece comes from India, and because each is shaped by hand, small differences in pattern may appear – these are not faults, but signs of the unique craftsmanship that make every piece individual for you.
