What is this brass burner used for?
You are holding an Indian brass incense burner shaped like a pot. The lid and mango wood handle let you safely and comfortably carry the smoke of smouldering white sage or palo santo through your rooms. It is also suited to burning loose resin incense and herbal blends.
How to prepare it for use
Fill the burner about two-thirds with fine sand or small pebbles. Place a glowing charcoal tablet on top, or the incense directly. Once the incense is glowing nicely, close the lid so the smoke is released in a controlled way.
Size and material
The pot is 21 cm wide and 10 cm tall, with a gross weight of around 434 g. The bowl is made of brass, the handle of mango wood. It arrives in a cardboard box, also making it suitable as a gift.
Safety notes
Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep it away from flammable items, draughts, children and pets. The metal pot can get hot during use, so always hold it by the wooden handle and place it on a heat-resistant surface.
