A quiet tinkle in your everyday
This 2.5 cm brass harmony ball follows the tree of life motif with a silver colour finish. Inside the ball a tiny bell rests, gently sounding with every movement. The silver tone gives a cooler, more restrained feel – pairing well with silver-toned jewellery and everyday wear.
Its traditional role
Tradition has it that harmony balls were worn by mothers-to-be because the soft chime was thought to calm the baby and strengthen the bond between mother and child. Today many people wear them regardless of pregnancy – simply because the gentle sound helps them pause for a moment in a busy day.
The tree of life across cultures
The tree of life is one of humanity's oldest symbols. It appears in Celtic symbolism, as the Buddhist bodhi tree, as the Scandinavian Yggdrasil and in Hungarian folk art alike. Everywhere it represents the connection between roots and crown, the continuity of life.
A dual-use aroma pendant
Inside the ball, in place of the bell, you may put a tiny lava stone ball (not included) and drip one or two drops of essential oil onto it. This way you can wear your favourite scent gently all day, without a cloud of perfume. If you place the bell back, you can return to the original tinkling function.
Skin-friendly craft
The pendant is made nickel, lead and cadmium free, in line with the European product safety standards (REACH). Small irregularities may appear on the metal surface – these are natural marks of handwork. It arrives in a cardboard gift box, ready to be given as a present. A chain is not included.
