A portable L-rod pair
Dowsing rods, also known as L-rods, are long-standing tools that many people use to look for water, energy lines or lost objects. This version is made with travellers in mind: the 40 centimetre rod can be taken apart, so it fits easily into a hand bag or backpack. You can put it together quickly, and after a few minutes you can already observe the first movements. It can be taken out anywhere you find a quiet moment.

The rod pair arrives in a faux-leather storage pouch, which protects it from scratches and dust. The pouch is small, light and slides in nicely beside your other travel items. You do not need to take separate care of its protection, as you can slip it back into the pouch after each use. This way the metal surface and the handle keep their appearance for longer.
How to use the L-rods
L-rods are usually used for simple questions or searches: yes or no answers, or the direction of a lost object. Hold one rod in each hand, with the handles loose and the long ends pointing forward. Keep your arms close to your waist and the rods horizontal, parallel to the ground. Ask a question and observe how the rods cross, move apart or point in one direction. Start with short tries, and only later make the sessions longer.
Care at home and while travelling
After use, wipe the rods with a soft cloth and put them back into the pouch. Do not leave them wet, and do not store them in places exposed to strong heat, such as right next to a heater. If the brass surface darkens, a gentle brass cleaner can quickly restore its original look. When you take them apart and put them together, work with slow, calm movements so that the rods do not bend. This way they can be a reliable helper in your practice for many years.
