Two matching elastic bracelets: one in the soft pink of rose quartz, the other in the metallic gleam of hematite. They look good layered together and apart. The elastic cord needs no clasp and goes on easily.
The two stones
Rose quartz is the soft pink variety of quartz; its gentle shade comes from traces of titanium, iron or manganese, with a Mohs hardness of around 7. Tradition knows it as a stone of love, tenderness and self-acceptance. Hematite is an iron oxide mineral (Fe₂O₃) with a distinctive metallic, silvery-grey gleam and a surprising heft; the gold-coloured beads are coated by physical vapour deposition (PVD), which gives a durable, subtle golden tone. Crystal tradition knows it as a stone of focus and balance. These are traditions, not medical promises.
Two bracelets, many ways
The contrast of warm pink and cool metallic makes a soft yet definite pair. Layered on one wrist the two bracelets have a gentle mood; worn apart they are more understated. They make a lovely joint gift for those we love.
Care
Wipe them with a soft cloth and protect them from prolonged moisture and chemicals – hematite is sensitive to moisture. Rose quartz can fade over time in strong sunlight. Each piece is unique: the shade varies a little.
