Soft, powdery pink and warmer, vivid rose beads sit side by side on the wrist: this rose quartz and thulite bracelet offers a gentle yet lively pairing. The roughly 6 mm AA-quality beads are strung on a stretch cord, so the bracelet slips on easily without a clasp.
The two stones
Rose quartz is the pale pink variety of quartz, coloured by traces of titanium or iron, with a hardness of about 7 on the Mohs scale. Known as the stone of love and the heart, it is linked in crystal lore to tenderness and self-acceptance. Thulite is the pink-to-magenta variety of zoisite, first found in Norway; tradition knows it as a stone of joy, enthusiasm and the warmth of the heart.
Finish
AA-quality beads of roughly 6 mm on an elastic cord; the bracelet measures about 7 cm around. The finer 6 mm beads give a restrained, graceful look. As natural gemstones, the shade of the beads varies slightly from piece to piece.
Good to know
Its pink palette makes it a popular gift, and it layers beautifully with other light-stoned bracelets.
