Clear quartz, fact and tradition
Clear quartz is colourless, transparent quartz (SiO₂) with a hardness of around Mohs 7. It occurs worldwide, and clean crystals are sought after. In the crystal tradition it is known as a "master crystal", regarded as an amplifier of intention and a purifier of space that also strengthens other stones, all of which is tradition, not medical fact.
