The same warm, reddish-brown tiger eye, but on larger, fuller beads of roughly 8 mm: on this red tiger eye bracelet the silky band of light flashes wider and more vividly. The bigger beads make a statement, noticeable piece, on a stretch cord with no clasp.
About red tiger eye
Red tiger eye is the red-toned variety of tiger eye — a golden-brown, silky quartz in which the banded play of light (chatoyancy) gives a lively flash, with the red coming from iron oxides. Its hardness is about 7 on the Mohs scale. On the larger 8 mm beads, the band of light and the warmth of the stone show in full splendour. Tradition regards it as a stone of courage, drive and grounding.
Finish and fit
AA-quality beads of roughly 8 mm on an elastic cord; the bracelet measures about 7 cm around. The fuller beads make it a statement piece on its own, and it looks especially good alongside other earthy or black stone bracelets. As a natural stone, the shades vary slightly from piece to piece.
Good to know
The same bracelet is also available in finer 6 mm beads for a more graceful look.
