Labradorite Bracelet with Faceted AA Beads, 6 mm — Blue-Green Flash

Labradorite bracelet with faceted AA-quality beads of roughly 6 mm. A grey stone with a mysterious blue-green flash (labradorescence), on a stretch co

At first glance the beads look grey and understated — but as the light shifts, flashes of blue, green and sometimes gold run across them: the labradorite bracelet hides a mysterious, deep play of colour. The roughly 6 mm AA-quality faceted beads are strung on a stretch cord, so the bracelet slips on easily without a clasp.

About labradorite

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral made special by its characteristic colour play, labradorescence: light refracting within the stone's fine internal layers produces the bluish-green flashes. It is named after the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, where it was discovered. Tradition regards labradorite as a stone of transformation and protection, and knows it as a stone of intuition.

Finish

AA-quality faceted beads of roughly 6 mm on an elastic cord; the bracelet measures about 7 cm around. The direction and strength of the colour play is unique to each bead and depends on the angle of light.

Good to know

Turn the bracelet toward the light to bring out the blue-green flash — that is the magic of labradorite.
