About green aventurine
Green aventurine is the green variety of quartz; its characteristic fine shimmer (aventurescence) comes from tiny fuchsite (mica) inclusions, with a hardness of about 7 on the Mohs scale. On the larger faceted beads, more flat faces catch the light, so the bracelet flashes more vividly. Tradition regards it as a stone of luck and opportunity; in crystal lore it is linked to the heart chakra and a cheerful outlook.
