Three stones meet on the wrist: golden-brown, silky tiger eye, metallically gleaming hematite and deep black obsidian. The elastic cord is made with a wider circumference, so it goes on comfortably over a broader wrist. The beads are about 8 mm across.
The three stones
Tiger eye is a quartz in which iron-bearing fibres create its characteristic banded, silky shine (chatoyancy). Hematite is an iron oxide mineral (Fe₂O₃) with a distinctive metallic, silvery-grey gleam and a surprising heft. Obsidian is a volcanic glass formed from rapidly cooled lava – smooth, deep black, sometimes with a glassy sheen.
Crystal tradition knows tiger eye as a stone of courage, hematite as a stone of focus and balance, and obsidian as a stone of protection and grounding. These are traditions, not medical promises.
Wear and care
The dark yet varied surfaces of the three stones give a masculine, unisex look. Thanks to the wider circumference it sits well on a broader wrist. Wipe it with a soft cloth and protect it from prolonged moisture and chemicals. Hematite does not like moisture. Each piece is unique: the shade and surface may differ a little from the photo.
