One of fluorite's loveliest features is its range of colour: purple, green and white bands can alternate within a single stone, so every bead is different.
About fluorite
Fluorite, also called fluorspar, occurs in nature in many colours, the shades coming from trace elements within the stone. Tradition knows it as a stone of clarity and focus, and many keep it close as a companion for concentration and calm – sometimes called the stone of ordered thoughts.
Good to know
The fine beads of about 3 mm are strung on an elastic cord with an inner radius of around 6 cm. As a natural mineral, the colour and banding are unique to each piece.
Care
Fluorite is a relatively soft mineral, so protect it from knocks and scratches. Wipe with a soft cloth and keep it away from harsh chemicals.
