The two stones
Black onyx is the deep-black variety of chalcedony, regarded by tradition as a grounding, protective stone, a stone of stability and inner strength. Red tiger eye is a warm, red-toned, silky quartz; its banded play of light (chatoyancy) gives a lively flash, and tradition links it to courage and drive. On the larger 8 mm beads, the deep matte black and the silky red band complement each other beautifully.

AA-quality beads of roughly 8 mm on an elastic cord; the bracelet measures about 6.5 cm around. The fuller beads make a statement piece on its own, and it layers well with other dark or earthy stone bracelets. As natural stones, the shades vary slightly from piece to piece.
