The same four pastel stones — aquamarine, rose quartz, amazonite and thulite — but on larger, fuller beads of roughly 8 mm: this version makes a more assertive, eye-catching statement. The sea-blue, pink, blue-green and warm rose beads look rich on the wrist, strung on a stretch cord with no clasp.
The four stones
Aquamarine is the sea-blue variety of beryl, traditionally the sailor's stone and a stone of clear communication. Rose quartz is the pale pink stone of love. Amazonite is a blue-green feldspar that tradition regards as a stone of hope and calm self-expression. Thulite is the vivid pink variety of zoisite, a stone of joy. On the larger beads, the colour and pattern of each stone show more vividly.
Finish and fit
AA-quality beads of roughly 8 mm on an elastic cord; the bracelet measures about 7 cm around. The fuller beads create a stronger, more noticeable look and can be worn as a statement piece on their own. As natural gemstones, the shades vary slightly from piece to piece.
