About amazonite
Amazonite is the blue-green variety of feldspar (microcline), named after the Amazon River; its hardness is about 6–6.5 on the Mohs scale. On the larger faceted beads, the stone's characteristic veining and turquoise shade stand out more. Tradition regards it as a stone of hope and calm self-expression; in crystal lore it is linked to the throat chakra and composed communication.
Finish and fit
AA-quality faceted beads of roughly 8 mm on an elastic cord; the bracelet measures about 7 cm around. The fuller beads make it a statement piece on its own. As a natural stone, the shade and veining are unique to each bead.
