Calm, blue-green beads with fine, whitish veining and a soft flash on the cut faces: the amazonite bracelet wears a fresh yet balanced colour. The roughly 6 mm AA-quality beads are strung on a stretch cord, so the bracelet slips on easily without a clasp.
About amazonite
Amazonite is the blue-green variety of feldspar (microcline); its characteristic turquoise colour comes from traces of lead and water, while the fine light veining arises from the stone's structure. It is named after the Amazon River. Its hardness is about 6–6.5 on the Mohs scale. Tradition regards it as a stone of hope and calm self-expression; in crystal lore it is linked to the throat chakra and composed communication.
Finish
AA-quality faceted beads of roughly 6 mm on an elastic cord; the bracelet measures about 6.5 cm around. As a natural stone, the blue-green shade and the veining are unique to each bead.
Good to know
Its fresh, turquoise colour has a summery feel and harmonises with many other stones. The same bracelet is also available in larger 8 mm beads.
