What is the Book of Shadows?
The Book of Shadows is one of the most important objects in Wicca and other modern magical traditions — a kind of personal grimoire in which spells, incantations, ritual descriptions, herbal notes and spiritual observations are recorded. The name itself emphasises the importance of the personal and the secret: shadows symbolise hidden, inner knowledge.

The surface of the leather is enhanced with pressed or carved decoration, made by hand — so every journal cover is unique and unrepeatable. Tanned leather becomes softer and richer in tone over the years, developing a patina characteristic only to that particular piece.
