A square mango wood tray with several compartments and a decorated card holder in the centre. It measures 30.5 × 30.5 cm, a little larger than a sheet of A4, stands 5.5 cm high and weighs about 1.2 kg. Deep blue and gold decoration brightens the pale natural wood. Made in India.
The Moon card
The surface of the card holder shows the phases of the moon, stars, flowers and fine geometric lines. In the major arcana of the tarot, the Moon is card XVIII, traditionally read as the card of intuition and dreams. The best-known decks show the moon above a dog, a wolf and two towers. If you like to read the cards, this tray gives both your deck and your stones a place.
Compartments for the deck and the crystals
Use the compartments for a deck of cards, crystals, rings and other small things. During a reading the deck can wait in one compartment while the card you draw sits in the central holder, where it stays in view until you finish.
On a bedside table or a home altar
It fits on a bedside table, a desk or a home altar wherever you have about 31 cm of free space. When you are not reading, the compartments can hold keys, bracelets or small stones. It makes a good gift for anyone who reads the cards or collects crystals and likes everything in its place.
Because it is made of wood, the grain and shade vary a little from piece to piece, so your tray will not look exactly like the photo. Wipe the wood with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not soak it in water, and do not scrub the decorated parts.
