Specifications
- Material: white ceramic with food-safe glaze
- Capacity: approx.
A small pot is made for slow tea. It brews for one or two, ideally green, white or lighter black teas.
Who is it for?
For someone who likes bright, simple interiors — blue-and-white landscapes, Provence atmospheres, Scandinavian kitchens. As a gift it suits weddings especially well (the blue echoes the “something blue” tradition), girlfriends, mothers, older relatives who care about understated classical beauty.
Brewing tips
Rinse the pot with hot water before first use. For green tea (sencha, longjing) use 70-80 °C, 2-3 minutes. For white tea (Pai Mu Tan, Silver Needle) use 75-85 °C, 3-5 minutes — delicate teas show particularly well against the blue. Herbal tea: 90-95 °C, 5-7 minutes. Because the pot is small, only brew what you will drink shortly.
Care and cleaning
Dishwasher-safe, but hand washing preserves the cobalt blue best. Use a soft sponge and mild detergent. If you often brew strong black tea, light tannin marks may appear inside — these lift with a short baking-soda soak. Store dry with the lid set aside.
