How to use it
Wash the pot and cups with warm water and mild detergent before first use, then rinse clean. Pre-rinsing the pot with hot water just before brewing keeps your tea hotter for longer. For black tea, use water at around 95 °C; for green tea, 75–80 °C. Steep black tea 3–4 minutes, green tea 2–3 minutes. Give the pot a gentle stir before pouring so the tea is even across the cups.
Storage and cleaning
Hand-wash in warm water with a soft sponge. Avoid scouring pads and aggressive cleaners. Dishwashing is acceptable on a short low-temperature cycle, but the glaze may gradually dull — wash favourites by hand. Store upright and dry; avoid stacking cups inside each other if possible, as repeated knocks can leave hairline scratches.
