Two matching elastic bracelets in deep black and metallically gleaming beads: the black tourmaline and hematite set looks good layered together and on its own. The elastic cord needs no clasp and goes on easily.
The two stones
Black tourmaline is a complex boron silicate mineral with a deep black colour and often a fine, lengthwise striation; tradition knows it as a stone of grounding and protection. Hematite is an iron oxide mineral (Fe₂O₃) with a distinctive metallic, silvery-grey gleam and a surprising heft; the gold-coloured beads are coated by physical vapour deposition (PVD), which gives a durable, subtle golden tone. Crystal tradition knows it as a stone of focus and balance. These are traditions, not medical promises.
Two bracelets, many ways
The beauty of the pair is its versatility: layered on one wrist the two bracelets are characterful, while sharing them can be a lovely gesture in a joint gift. The black and metallic tones are unisex and suit many outfits.
Care
Wipe them with a soft cloth and protect them from prolonged moisture and chemicals – hematite is especially sensitive to moisture. Stretch the elastic gently when putting it on. Each piece is unique: the shade of the stones varies a little.
