Black macrame wall shelf with turquoise accents, handmade piece
This 72 cm wide, 150 cm tall and 13 cm deep wall shelf weighs 2.3 kg and features black cotton macrame knotting with turquoise highlights. Handmade in Java, Indonesia by a small family workshop, it combines rustic albesia wood shelves with carefully tied cotton rope, so each piece has subtle differences in knot placement, wood grain and tone.
Placement and care
Use it in the bedroom above the bed for personal items, in the living room for small plants and decor, in offices for photos, or at reception to warm up a space. Hang with a single strong nail or hook suitable for your wall type. Keep evenly distributed loads to 1–2 kg per level. Dust cotton rope with a soft brush or vacuum attachment, and keep away from direct rain, long-term humidity and direct sunlight to protect both the rope and the wood.
