The benefits of the wooden hilt
This bio-tensor is 34 centimetres long, and the hilt is made of Loquat wood (Latin name Eriobotrya japonica). The wood material has a warm, natural feel, and the weight is only 121 grams, making it very light and comfortable even for longer use. The wooden hilt may be particularly homely for you if you like natural materials and would prefer not to choose a mineral-handled tool.
How it differs from the crystal-hilt version
The mass and the surface of the wooden hilt differ from those of the mineral-hilt version. Wood is lighter, so the small tremors of the thin steel rod become visible more quickly. This can be especially advantageous for you in beginner use, because you sense your own hand movements sooner and learn to maintain a steady hold more easily.
How to hold and observe it
Hold the wooden hilt loosely, leaning slightly below the horizontal. Allow the hand a natural, permissive posture; do not grip it tightly. The 34-centimetre steel rod vibrates freely, and after a few seconds you may see it begin to move in circular or sideways motions. Users consider this to indicate various energetic signals.
Origin and handwork
The hilt and the entire tool are made in India in traditional workshops, and arrive in a luxury box. The grain and colour of the Loquat wood may differ slightly from piece to piece, because it is a living, natural material. We thus give you a unique piece made with handwork.
Care and service life
You can wipe the wooden hilt with a soft, dry cloth; please avoid washing with water. From time to time you may lightly rub it with a drop of natural beeswax to preserve the smoothness of the surface. Keep the steel rod loose and untwisted, and ideally store it in its own box. Protect the wood from direct sunlight and damp environments.
