The Bibo Bio waste bag is made for the separate, compostable collection of household kitchen food waste. The 10 litre, 40×43 cm size is practical for smaller kitchen caddies and countertop bio-waste containers. Its thickness is 17–18 micron and each roll contains 15 bags.
Material and environment
The waste bag is a developed and manufactured-in-house bioplastic product made from organic materials with natural mineral fillers. It is biodegradable and suitable for home composting, breaking down into natural materials. Despite being compostable, it is durable and high-strength. The raw material is certified free of PFAS (forever chemicals), BPA (bisphenol-A) and phthalates. It is developed and produced in Hungary.
Use and composting
The bag is intended for the separate collection of household organic kitchen food waste: the waste can be composted together with the bag. For quality compost it helps to know what can be composted – such as vegetable and fruit waste, coffee grounds, food leftovers, baked goods and kitchen paper waste – and what cannot: large bones, stone-fruit pits, cooking oil, aluminium foil and cigarettes.
The bag can be placed in the compost together with the compostable waste, making kitchen bio-waste handling simpler.
