Deeper sound, familiar comfort
The Bass Cajonito expands the popular Cajonito concept with a powerful bass dimension. The slightly larger body delivers a significantly broader sound spectrum: rich, warm bass tones, crisp snare accents and surprising dynamics - while keeping the same compact, comfortable playing style.
Two striking surfaces, two characters
The instrument is playable on both sides. One surface gives deep, warm bass sounds and crisp snare response, the other an assertive, higher quinto-like sound. An integrated damping pad keeps the sound under control, and the sound hole lets you create lively wah-wah effects and dynamic sound modulations with your hand. The frame also invites creative finger techniques and percussive accents.
A travel companion for music
The body measures approx. 35.5 × 29 × 15 cm and weighs only about 1.6 kg, so you can easily take it with you in a bag. It is ideal for travelling, small sessions, acoustic setups, or as an inspiring addition to any percussion setup. Made in Germany from multilayer birch with an SC6 birch playing surface.
Who is it for?
If you love the sound of the cajon but are looking for a smaller, more portable instrument, the Bass Cajonito is an excellent choice. Beginners are welcome too: played on your lap or on a table, it responds with a full, rewarding sound from your very first attempts.
