Barletta pearl onion is the classic tiny white onion — the foundation of pickles. Mid-season, white skin. Sown more densely and deeper than ordinary onions — keeping them small.

Sow in March–April densely, 2–3 cm deep. Plant spacing 3–5 cm, row spacing 15 cm.
Harvest in July. Uses: vinegar-pickled pearl onions, cocktail onions.
