This fine, natural silver sand is a quiet helper for burning incense. Poured into the base of an incense bowl, charcoal dish or holder, it provides a heat-insulating, stable bed for charcoal tablets, cones or granular incense, and protects the bottom of the vessel from direct heat.
The bag measures about 12 × 8 cm; the stated weight is approximate. Fill the base of the vessel with a couple of centimetres of sand, then set the ember or incense on top. Allow everything to cool completely after use.
