Hand and lotus flower backflow incense burner
This small but expressive burner depicts a lotus flower resting on an open palm — a motif rooted in Eastern traditions that symbolises purity, calm and spiritual openness. It is designed for meditation altars, bedside tables or quiet study corners.
Please note: this burner works only with backflow incense cones. Standard incense cones will not produce the cascading smoke effect.
How backflow cones work
Backflow cones have an internal channel that directs the smoke downward. Because the smoke is cooler and denser than the surrounding air, it cascades slowly along the burner like a soft waterfall. Light the tip of the cone, let it glow for 15–20 seconds, then gently blow out the flame. A cone burns for 20–30 minutes.
Tips and care
Avoid draughts — close windows and turn off fans for the best effect. Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. Dimensions: 7.7 × 7.7 × 6 cm, weight 110 g. Keep out of reach of children and pets while the cone is burning.
