Backflow Smoke Stand - Lucky Kitten - Tube

Tube-style backflow incense holder shaped like a maneki-neko lucky cat on a round 13 cm ceramic tray. Smoke disperses evenly around the base.

A lucky cat in a veil of cooling smoke

This 13 cm diameter, 6.5 cm tall ceramic tube-style backflow holder features a stylised maneki-neko, the Japanese beckoning cat associated with good fortune and welcoming visitors. At 0.364 kg it sits steadily on round tables, shelves and console tops, where a lit backflow cone on the cat's head sends smoke through a hidden internal channel before it emerges in a wide, soft mist around the base.

How the tube type works

Place a backflow cone in the top opening, light the tip, wait for a stable ember, then blow out the flame. Instead of pouring straight down, the smoke travels through the internal channel and exits near the cat's feet – creating a more even, cloud-like veil than open-surface holders. Only backflow cones work; conventional cones will not cascade.

Placement and care

The round base suits symmetrical spots – a small round table, the middle of a shelf, an entry console. Keep away from curtains, papers and flammable surfaces, and out of the reach of children and pets while a cone is burning. After use, let the piece cool, wipe the tray with a damp cloth and occasionally clear the internal channel with a cotton swab so the smoke can flow freely.
