Dolphin wave and sea-smoke in one piece
The Dolphin Wave backflow smoke stand is an ocean-inspired scene: a dolphin silhouette leaping on the crest of a wave, over a 15 cm diameter circular bowl where smoke settles like a small wave-break. The 13 cm height keeps the piece dynamic — the dolphin leaps rather than sits. A distinctive choice for coastal or Mediterranean interiors, but also a conversation-starter in a modern living room.
How to use
The cone hole sits at the dolphin's tail or at the top of the wave. Place a backflow cone there perforation-down, light the tip, wait 20–30 s for the glow, then blow out the flame. During the 20–30-minute burn the smoke cascades along the wave, flows around the dolphin's body, and gathers in the 15 cm bowl below — like sea-spray settling. Regular cones do not work here.
Size and character
480 g, 13 cm tall, 15 cm diameter. Ceramic with soft blue-white on the wave and deeper blue-grey on the dolphin. Slight hand-painted variation between pieces. The wide base is stable even in a high-traffic area.
Placement
Coastal or seaside interiors — holiday homes, beach apartments, sailing-themed living rooms, or blue-white bathrooms (on a dry shelf). Pairs well with shell collections, sandstone pieces, and blue glass vases. Children love it for the dolphin motif — as with any lit incense, keep above their reach.
