When smoke flows like a waterfall
The Dragon Pond backflow smoke stand evokes an Eastern legend: a dragon rising from the pond, around which the dense smoke of a backflow cone cascades slowly downward like a real waterfall. This 24 cm wide, 8 cm deep, 6.5 cm tall ceramic piece suits meditation corners, living-room coffee tables or spa spaces equally well. In Eastern tradition the dragon symbolises wisdom and good fortune, adding quiet meaning to the ritual of lighting a cone.
How to use it
Place a backflow incense cone on the top opening behind the dragon so the hole on the bottom of the cone lines up with the opening. Light the tip, wait 20–30 seconds for the cone to glow, then gently blow out the flame. Over the next 20–30 minutes the cooler, heavier smoke will flow down the channels and across the pond surface. Standard upright cones will NOT work here — only perforated backflow cones produce the waterfall effect.
Material and placement
Made of ceramic, weighing 437 g, it sits stably and will not tip when you load a cone. The dragon detailing, rippled water surface and warm brown-green patina give it a handcrafted look. Place it on a stable flat surface and keep it away from drafts, which would disrupt the downward smoke flow. Wipe clean with a damp soft cloth; do not submerge in water.
