The Palo Santo backflow incense cones come to you in a 6-piece pack — the Phoenix purchase unit, giving you six occasions of holy-wood scent and waterfall smoke for quiet evening moods, reflection or refreshing your space.
The holy wood we are talking about
Palo Santo comes from the aromatic, matured wood of the Bursera graveolens tree; in South America the naturally fallen wood is used for burning. Its smoke is sweet, woody and faintly citrus — a soft, warmly sweet character that many experience as a fragrance of calm and quieting down. We offer you the traditional scent used to clear a space.
The secret of the backflow effect
Through the cone's air channel the smoke flows downward, like a waterfall over the holder. This requires a backflow holder — a cup-shaped holder that guides the cooled smoke down through its designed opening with a striking, waterfall-like motion. With an ordinary holder the smoke would simply rise, and the visual effect would not appear.
Steps of use
- Light the tip of the cone, wait for an even glow, then blow out the flame.
- Place the cone on the opening of the backflow holder so the smoke can start its downward flow.
- One cone smoulders for about 15 minutes and measures roughly 1 × 3.5 cm.
- The 6 pieces mean six separate experiences — you can freely share with friends or keep for your own quiet moments.
Safe placement
Place it on a heat-resistant, stable surface in a draught-free spot, and keep the burning cone supervised. Keep it away from children and flammable objects, and it is wise to air the room after use.
