The Classic Nag Champa backflow incense cones come to you in a 6-piece pack — the Phoenix purchase unit, giving you six occasions of waterfall smoke for homely evening moods, quiet reflection or refreshing your space.
The scent of Nag Champa
Nag Champa is one of the best known and best loved scents in the Indian incense tradition: warm, softly sweet, with a floral-woody character that makes a space feel like home in an instant. You receive an Indian incense classic that deserves to become your favourite.
How a backflow cone works
An air channel runs through the base of the cone; through it the cooled smoke does not rise but flows downward, tumbling over the holder like a waterfall. The effect only appears with a holder designed for backflow — an ordinary stick holder cannot produce it.
Use step by step
- Light the tip of the cone and wait until it glows evenly; this can take a little while.
- Blow out the flame, then place the cone on the opening of the backflow holder.
- One cone burns for about 15 minutes and measures roughly 1 × 3.5 cm.
- The 6 pieces give you six such waterfall moments, so you can try the scent in different situations.
Safe placement
Always use a heat-resistant, stable surface in a draught-free spot so the smoke can flow down nicely. Never leave a burning cone unattended, and keep it away from children and flammable objects. It is wise to air the room after use.
