A little pond with a lotus on its surface, and smoke that tumbles down over two steps like a waterfall — the Lotus Pond burner creates a whole small landscape on the table. Watching the moving veil of smoke is calming in itself.
The lotus on the water
The lotus rising from water is, in the Eastern tradition, an image of purity and spiritual unfolding. The pond motif adds the stillness of water and the quiet of reflection.
Two-level backflow effect
Cooled smoke from the right cone falls over two plateaux, making the waterfall effect even more striking. The phenomenon needs backflow cones; the holder can also be used with thin incense sticks.
Material, size, use
- Ceramic, measuring about 11 × 8 × 6 cm — a compact, detailed tabletop ornament.
- Place it on a stable, heat-resistant, draught-free surface for an even flow of smoke.
- Keep the burning cone or stick supervised; once cooled, wipe with a soft cloth.
