A calm-faced little Buddha wrapped in a softly falling veil of smoke — this backflow incense burner brings quiet to a corner of the room in moments. The effect is at once playful and soothing.
Who the Buddha is
The Buddha, the awakened one, is a symbol of peace, mindfulness and inner balance, a favourite figure for home altars and meditation corners. The ceramic figure evokes that serenity with respect.
How the backflow smoke works
Cooled smoke from the right cone flows downward and surrounds the figure like a waterfall. The effect needs backflow cones — it will not form with incense sticks or standard cones.
Material, size, use
- Ceramic, measuring about 12 × 9 × 7 cm — a compact tabletop ornament.
- Place it on a stable, heat-resistant, draught-free surface so the smoke falls evenly.
- Keep the burning cone supervised; once cooled, wipe with a soft cloth.
