Backflow Incense Burner with Ganesh Figure – 9 x 6 x 10 cm Ceramic

Ceramic backflow incense burner with Ganesh figure, where the smoke flows downward like a waterfall. Only for special backflow cones.

The 9 x 6 x 10 cm Ganesh backflow holder

This ceramic incense holder represents a classic Indian scene: the figure of Ganesh sits at the top of the holder, with a perforated section behind him through which the smoke flows downward. The compact 9 x 6 x 10 cm size and 222 g weight keep it steady on the surface. This holder is not for ordinary incense: it works exclusively with special backflow cone incense.

How the backflow phenomenon works

Special backflow cones are made with a longitudinal hollow channel. When lit, the denser, heavier smoke does not rise (as it would in a standard incense) but starts downward through the hole at the base of the cone. The sight of the smoke flowing down through the holder resembles a small waterfall – many find this effect enchanting and calming. If you like to watch a slow, hypnotic process during meditation or unwinding, this holder offers exactly that.

The presence of Ganesh in your home

In Hindu tradition, Ganesh is the deity who removes obstacles, and many people place him in their home at times of new beginnings (such as moving, a new job or an examination). If you are interested in this tradition, the holder is not only a functional tool but also a beautiful ceramic figure that can be displayed decoratively on a shelf even when not in use.

Where to find the right backflow cone

The backflow effect arises only with special backflow cones. With ordinary cone or stick incense, the smoke will not flow down, only rise in the usual way. We sell the backflow cones separately – if you choose this holder, we recommend ordering the cones alongside so that you can try the effect immediately.

Safety and cleaning

Place it on a heat-resistant flat surface, keeping a 30 cm safety distance from curtains and paper. The ceramic warms slightly during use. Ash collects at the lower part of the holder and can easily be tipped out after it has completely cooled. We recommend a soft dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning; do not use strong chemicals, as these may fade the ceramic paint.
