This Ganesh-shaped ceramic incense burner is a quiet, eye-catching addition to your home. Unlike the usual incense holder, the smoke here does not rise; it slowly flows down along the figurine, like a small waterfall. The effect is calming and peaceful, you can spend a long time just watching it.
How the backflow smoke works
The holder is designed specifically for so-called backflow incense cones. These cones have a small hole in the middle: once lit, the smoke travels down inside the cone and then continues to flow through the channels of the figurine. A regular straight incense stick will not create this effect.
Shape, size and weight
The figurine is about 9 centimetres wide, 8 centimetres tall and 12 centimetres deep, weighing around 290 grams. This size looks good on a shelf, a windowsill or a quiet corner. The ceramic surface has a cool touch and the detail is fine – you can look at it closely for a long time.
When to use it
The sight of the downward flowing smoke is especially well suited to quiet evening moments, to shared conversations or to the minutes before a calm bath. It also makes a pleasant backdrop for a meditation practice, because the slowly flowing smoke gives a natural rhythm to the room.
Safe placement
Always place the lit cone into the small recess of the holder, and put the burner on a heat-resistant, flat surface. Do not place it in a draught, because then the smoke will not flow nicely. Keep it away from curtains, children and pets, and never leave the burning cone unattended. After burning, let the ceramic cool down.
Cleaning and care
After burning, a small amount of dust remains where the cone was placed; you can gently wipe it off with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or scouring pads, as the surface detail is delicate. The burner is delivered to Hungary from China, carefully packed in a cardboard box. It is worth ordering the backflow incense cones separately.
